Common Hackberry

Celtis occidentalis |Vibrant yellow fall colour

Handsome light green, elm-like summer foliage turns vibrant yellow in fall. Tolerant of harsh climatic conditions as well as urban abuse, this deep rooted tree rarely lifts sidewalks. The rough, corky bark is attractive and prevents damage. Great for large landscapes or street plantings.
